RF appointment: what it is, instructions and contraindications

lifting the youthfulness of the skin

Lifting is the generic name for a variety of cosmetic procedures aimed at tightening the skin. These include plastic surgery and a variety of non -invasive methods, from medications (injections) to apparatus therapy.

According to reviews of cosmetologists and people who use hardware lifts for rejuvenation, this is one of the few non-surgical methods for effective tightening, which has long-lasting effects and significantly improves skin health (including anti-inflammatory effects) without causing significant side effects.

As a maintenance therapy for ptosis (ptosis) of skin areas with the onset of age -related changes, hardware removal is indicated for patients older than 25 years (gender is not important) in the form of a regular short course.

For men, this procedure will help to overcome fat deposits in the chin and neck area, to restore the silhouette in case of shingles obesity.

What is radio wave lifting?

RFlifting (or RFlifting) of the face and body is an age -related change therapy based on the radio wave method of heating the inner layers of the skin (dermis and hypodermis) below the epidermis (surface layers).

The essence of this method lies in the effect of radio wave points on the most exposed areas, where cellulite and sacs are most often formed, that is, characterized by age -related fatigue. These are the facial areas - forehead, temples, cheeks, nasolabial triangle, chin and neck to the thyroid cartilage; and torso - abdomen, inner thighs, sides (above the iliac pelvis). Also, whole -body radio frequency lifting is used.

As a result of deep heating to various temperatures (depending on the zone and sensitivity of the skin), the fat sublayer becomes thinner, reflex channels expand, and with the acceleration of blood flow, metabolism in the skin is accelerated. But the main thing is the transformation that takes place with collagen: it changes its structure - the long stretched fibers that connect the dermis and epidermis are reduced, and the skin regains firmness and elasticity. After 21 days, new collagen begins to be produced intensively, providing a lasting effect.

As a result, the "flash" is significantly tightened, eyebrows are raised, nasolabial folds become less pronounced, acne scars and stretch marks are smooth and diminished. The effect of orange peel is gone. The skin becomes more elastic when touched, the skin becomes even: the shadows under the eyes are bright, the yellow color is replaced by pink.

Views

The RF face and body lifting procedure can be performed in different modes depending on the device type and settings. The difference lies in the power (and temperature produced in the skin) and the polarity of the device.

  • monopolar. Evenly work on selected layers of skin at the same depth. It has the strongest effect and, thus, the highest temperature (50-60OC). This tool should not be used on delicate skin areas, including the area around the eyes (crow's feet only). Very suitable for the treatment of cellulite as part of body shaping
  • bipolar.Polarity can be changed to reduce power and temperature (up to 45OC), therefore this appliance is suitable for delicate areas. Does not create a magnetic field
  • Tripolar (tripolar). The latest generation lift device with continuous polarity reversal. The softest mode with the lowest temperature and the highest processing speed. Suitable for all skin types (even for RF eye lifting), can be used all over the body. It doesn't hurt at all

RF and thermolifting - what is the difference?

Thermolifting (thermage) is most often called high -powered RF body lift (i. e. , performed by a monopolar apparatus). The effect of temperature reaches 60OC. With thermolifting, controlled damage to the skin triggers a stronger immune response, so edema after the procedure is more likely to develop.

Thermolifting properties:

  • Good results in the treatment of deep fat deposits (radio wave penetration capacity with this method reaches 40 mm), but limited scope (can not be used to treat the eye due to the risk of damage to the eyeball tissue)
  • The procedure is short, but the chances of discomfort are high
  • Long list of contraindications

RF pickup features:

  • multi-purpose
  • Low power
  • Lack of sensation and side effects
  • Longer therapy
  • The need for repetitive courses arises 1-2 times a year

Advantage

  • Not invasive. This procedure does not leave scars and does not create conditions that are potentially dangerous to health (prerequisites for allergic reactions, infections, blood loss)
  • Does not require special training, rehabilitation and adherence to a lifelong diet or other restrictive rules
  • All seasons. There are no restrictions for the procedure in the summer, because the epidermis is not involved in the process
  • Effectiveness in different age groups regardless of gender. Equally well accepted by men and women from 25 to menopause
  • Fast action. The results are not only visible after one procedure, but inferred during the course and increasing over time (long -term effects)
  • Impact accuracy allows you to process strictly defined areas
  • Suitable for the whole body
  • Can be used in complex rejuvenation schemes

Who is appropriate

The RFlifting procedure has its own guidelines and limitations. Recommended by:

  • To maintain skin color until the first signs of fatigue and aging appear (but not earlier than 25 years)
  • At the first signs of tissue ptosis (falling eyelids, the appearance of "flying", "bags" under the eyes)
  • To shape the body, contour the face
  • As an anti -cellulite therapy (including as a means of combating obesity in the neck, double chin)
  • As part of a rejuvenation complex
  • To tighten the skin after rapid weight loss
  • To increase skin turgor with general relaxation, reduce the signs of acne
  • Stretch marks of various etiologies
  • Lines of expression and folds
  • Couperosis of the face, feet

Contraindications:

  • Connective tissue disease
  • Acute period of viral or bacterial infection, exacerbation of chronic disease
  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or menstruation
  • The presence of prostheses, implants (including gold reinforcement), pacemakers
  • Patients simultaneously received botox injections
  • High blood pressure or severe hypertension
  • Wounds, eczema, active inflammation of the skin
  • Oncological diseases
  • Diabetes of any kind
  • Under 25 years old

How is it done

  • Prior to the procedure, patients should not use cosmetics - the skin should be dry and clean. Men need to shave carefully. When working on the eyelids and the area around the eyes, it is not recommended to wear contact lenses
  • In a salon or beauty clinic, clients are placed in a comfortable reclining position on a sofa and covered with disposable sheets. The hair is collected under the hat
  • First, facial exfoliation is done for the purpose of deep cleansing.
  • Then a hypoallergenic (neutral) conductive gel is used
  • The beautician begins to drive the device (maniple) along a tightly defined line in the treated area, while massaging the skin simultaneously
  • At the end of the procedure, the skin is washed, a nourishing mask is applied on the face

The mode of exposure is chosen individually depending on the nature of the skin, the treatment area and the desired effect. Painful sensations are rare - during manipulation, the client may experience a tingling sensation with greater or lesser intensity, a surge of heat to the body surface in the operating area of the device.

Before visiting a beauty salon, you must consult a dermatologist about the presence of contraindications.

Side effects and recommendations after the session

Immediately after the RF adoption session, the blood vessels dilated and filled with blood. As a result, redness of the treated area, a feeling of heat and an increase in local temperature are possible. These symptoms disappear on their own within one to two days.

In the evening, a slight swelling may appear, which does not require intervention. When working on large areas of the body for cellulite removal, it is appropriate to combine RF uptake with lymphatic drainage.

A rare long -term complication of the procedure is skin fibrosis (abnormal proliferation of connective tissue due to excessive stimulation). It occurs when the procedure is abused or cosmetologists frequently do not adhere to the temperature regime and duration of exposure.

Therefore, when choosing this method of rejuvenation, you should adhere to the recommended interval between sessions, carefully choose the clinic, pay attention to the qualifications and ratings of the doctor.

On the first day after the session, clients should refrain from:

  • Bathing tour
  • Sports Hall
  • Solarium

How often the procedure should be performed

The adoption of radio frequencies has a long-lasting effect, so it is enough to repeat the course 1-2 times a year. Each course will include approximately 4 sessions of 15-20 minutes (depending on the regimen and body area, sessions can be extended up to 2 hours) for clients under the age of 50 and approximately 6-8 procedures for clients in menopause, sincechanges in hormone levels lead to more persistent skin changes.

Between one-course procedures, at least 10 days must elapse (this interval can be increased to two weeks, but cannot be reduced).

Benefits of undergoing the procedure at a professional clinic:

  • Innovative technology - tripolar RF uptake: a gentle complex effect without pain
  • Experienced cosmetologist and physiotherapist
  • Consultation with a dermatologist before the procedure
  • Various cosmetic services
  • Individual selection of complex anti-aging programs
